Providing quality care means recruiting quality people
In order to achieve this, we adopt a robust and tested process that helps us to identify those staff who have what it takes to genuinely care and support people. This includes applicants providing a minimum five year history, where any gaps of employment or time out of the country are fully accounted for.
Overseas candidates are required to fulfil the English assessment which includes written, oral and listening exercises. Only once these stages are satisfied do we complete the enhanced police check.
Once on board, our three day induction includes completing mandatory training as part of our obligations to be compliant with the Care Act 2015. New staff are then monitored and assessed as part of our quality of care supervisory programme over a twelve week period.
