Learning disabilities

Learning disabilities can affect the way that an individual learns and reacts to new things throughout their life. For some individuals, this may make living independently difficult or impossible. Being respected and having equal opportunities is a fundamental human right, which is why we aim to support and encourage any individual with learning disabilities to live their lives to the fullest.

Who will care for my loved one?

Our trained, professional staff can support individuals with a range of disabilities from the age of 18 and up. Here at Platinum Care, we appreciate that no individual is the same – our care plans are crafted alongside the individual to create something that suits your wants, needs and aspirations for the future. You can achieve anything you set your mind to, and our support options are designed with that in mind.

The service we provide

Platinum Care can assist with any number of day-to-day activities. Our team offers support around the home to ensure that everything is kept running safely and efficiently, including shopping, cleaning and even gardening. Care does not end at home, though. Current and previous service users have enjoyed social events including meals or even a trip to the pub, safely keeping fit with our staff alongside them, as well as leisure such as bowling, the cinema or outdoor activities.
