Care Assistants and Support Workers
When employing staff, PCS follow strict recruitment procedures including
application, interviews, recent criminal record background check (CRB) disclosures,
references and confirmation of eligibility to work in the UK. It is ensured that
applicants hold mandatory qualifications and certificates, encouraging
further courses to be undertaken. PCS works alongside an in-house training
company- Platinum Training Solutions - responsible for the training of staff.
PCS ensures that staff is experienced and understand fully demands of the
health-care industry.
It is important to PCS that care staffs are not only able to deliver good care,
but have a friendly, cheerful and hard-working personality dedicated to caring
for others. PCS feel that continuity is of importance and make effort to place
individuals in the same homes. Clients' opinions are respected and valued, thus
making available care staff based on preferences.
Performance of PCS team members are monitored through liaising with both staff
and clients, and supervision. Regular contact with our clients is maintained to
ensure service provided meets and exceeds expectations.
Nurses
The provision of qualified nurses is an exciting area established over the last four years. The
service is supported by the same high standards that apply to and compliment
supply of care staff.
Platinum is supported by a qualified nurse who overseas the
recruitment and registration process for nurses, including personal
health assessment. All necessary checks are conducted prior employment.
PCS is able to supply various grades of nurses, nurses capable of working
independently and nurses to compliment client nurses.
Human Resource Solutions
PCS provides services offering human resource solutions, including advice and
assistance in the recruitment of permanent staff.
Rates
PCS believes that the provision of high-quality service does not have to be
charged at high rates, thus our charge rates for care staff are reasonable. Our
rates are available upon request contacting our office team. Realising that each
care establishment is unique in structure and requirements, services are
tailored-made to meet the needs of individual clients. PCS would be willing
to arrange a meeting, discussing further services we could render.
